I love this recipe.  I found it a couple years ago from Martha Stewart and it is a favorite!

I adapted the recipe a little to include coconut flakes on the outside to look like snow.  The hubby loves this so I made it for his birthday.  I usually leave out the liqueur since the kids will be wolfing this down but it does make it taste that much more amazing!  I also had to change the ganache recipe since the amount asked for makes a running version so I changed it to 12 oz chocolate and 1 1/2 cups cream.  I also flash freeze it in the freezer to set it up instead of in the fridge.  I found the cake toppers from a log we got from a local bakery a couple years ago and saved – I thought they were perfect for this cake since it looks like a mountain!
