Ribs are hubby’s favourite.  I have also done this recipe with a jar of Williams Sonoma’s pulled pork sauce.  Simply add it to the ribs in the slow cooker and cook.  The homemade version is just as easy though.

Slow cooker ribs

Season ribs with salt & pepper
Brown in shallow pan 15 minutes/side

Mix:
2 cups ketchup
1 cup chili sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 tbsp vinegar
2 tsp oregano
2 tsp worchestershire
1 dash hot sauce

Pour over ribs in slow cooker and cook 6-8 hours on low.  After removing I sometimes like to broil in the oven or quickly heat on the BBQ just to add some crispiness to the ribs.
